Besides the single-vineyards Steinriegel and Edelschuh, the single vineyard Sausaler Schlössl is our most barren site. It stretches at an altitude between 500 and 590 meters above sea level sith slopes of 70 percent. The partially red and blue/black slate stamps its taut mineral personality on to the wines grown here.
