Ripe fruit, complex, minerally, rich in finesse—a refined Burgundy style wine with lots of potential Location: Gola: The name is of Slavian origin, meaning „naked“, which refers to the meagre slate soil. It is one of our hottest sites, producing profound wines with plenty of stuffing. Because of their slaty minerality, they stand out above all for their unique finesse, which makes them keep their elegance despite their high ripeness. Soil: Red slate (paleozoic slate) Awards: 93/100 points Falstaff Weinguide 2018/19 Winemaking: Selective hand picked grapes, maceration time of 3-5 hours, gently very slowly pressed. Slow Fermentation in Stainless Steel tanks and in used big wooden casks at temperatures around 20°C. Aging and batonage for several months.
